and that’s a wrap.
Today is the very last day of the first decade of the new millennium. 2010. Imagine that. My dearest friend/upstairs neighbor/co-worker/everything in between, Mish, wrote an entertaining A-Z 2009 article for Hearty, and although my life is far from the glamours of 2009’s pop culture gossip, I decided to post a ‘best-of’ Michelle Ford’s 2009.
.I spent the better half of this morning sitting in front of iphoto (yes i use iphoto, religiously at that) trying to narrow down a collection of photos that would sum up 2009. This past year was probably one of my most important years for my “self discovery”. Good times were had, mistakes were made, overwhelming sadness and paralyzing amounts of joy, turning 25, falling out of love, falling into love with everything around me, death, life, home is where your heart is, the family, my family, the west and the east, bk, soul mates, moving days, make(made)overs and at last a place to call home.

January: I shot my first feature for PIG with Fan Death.
February: was a very long month.
March: I use to call this place home once upon a time (palmdale, California)
April: I moved to the big apple. Jody had a birthday. And chad dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld.
May: I turned 25 and spent most of my time on this roof top with Jody
June: I got homesick and went back vancouver. we spent the longest days
of the year watching the sun set on pasely island.
July: Leah came to visit. we drove to Chicago and camped in Ohio.
August: Things finally started to come together, just in time for me to leave.
September: I found home again.
October: I found family again (tony x took this)
November: When i wouldn’t leave my home, they came to me.
December: These are the days. I probably replace this photo with
christmas photo once i get them developed.
