lots have happened this summer. a ton reallly. but none of that really matters anymore….6 days left of summer. and summer is going out with a bang. This weekend is the sooner or later show which will only garentee a fantastic time.. Kim and Me and Maya and Graham are all in it. You should Probably all come… its going to be a sweet summer time..

Found this in a pile of photos. I very rarely shoot b&w, but I took this back on a windy day in January this past winter. I don’t remember much except that sound the wind made while it forced its way between the tarp and the building….I wish the first photo turned out.

Maybe i like this photo so much because it reminds me of something christo and jeanne claude would make.

In a mediocre attempt at preparing myself for the 7 day 20, 000 feet hike of Kilimanjaro, I dragged Lucy along with me to bike Black Tusk. Here are some photos…..

This is my beautiful and talented friend Renee. We worked at the Main together for years, now she is my neighbor. She is an actress and a very talented sitar player.

I just finalized my details to climb Mt Kilimanjaro and zanzibar today! holy smokes! I can’t wait!

It’s another beautiful summer day here in Vancouver and I’m sitting inside Maya’s apartment with Kim, Mish, Lucy and Marilyn, anxiously flipping from one of ten tabs to the next on firefox stressing over topics concerning women’s travel in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro trek companies, how to write an artisit statement, attempting to sell my cameras, attempting to buy cameras and applying for residencies. yikes!

In other news, 3 more shifts and then I WILL NEVER EVER have to pour another beer or make a martini again in my life!! (ok well not at least until i get back from africa in October)

Also in other news, Maya and Kim and Mish and I are looking for a wicked studio space. with lots of natural light and high cielings are a must. let me know if you have any leads.

Went back to Nelson Island this week. Just as great as last time only hotter and more swimming!
